Darsel is an education technology nonprofit on a mission to improve learning outcomes in low-resource settings. We emerged from research at Harvard and Stanford to address a global learning crisis that is limiting human potential and economic development.
1 billion students can’t reliably use video-based educational platforms due to device- and internet-related limitations. We reach them through simple low-bandwidth channels like SMS, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
Our platform provides a fully-automated interactive and personalized learning experience for students, and is powered by algorithms that were designed to improve learning outcomes and reverse learning losses.
Darsel is a supplemental tool for K12 school systems. All our content is curriculum-aligned. We partner with schools and give math teachers data on their students’ skills and needs.
